feeling of
homecoming

Silbermond’s song „B96″ is a very personal tribute to the B96 characterising it as a highway that metaphorically connects the past with the future. It expresses a feeling of homecoming, which can be comforting and beautiful, but also melancholy and painful.

mystique & melancholy

This delicate sense of home, expressed in the lyrics of the song, required special visual treatment. Instead of visualising the lyrics, we used a palette of gestures, glances and metaphors. This not only gave our viewers space for interpretation, but also added a layer of mystique and melancholy to a beautiful song. The result is is a touching road movie, one that we can all identify with when we’re on our own road to home.
